... and we're on our way to Sawyers Bar. Brad and I are not certain. It seemed to us, looking at the map on our last trip, that this was Russian Creek, but it wasn't clear. Now that I have a map of Klamath National Forest, I wonder if it might be Cow Creek, a tributary of Russian Creek. Re- gardless, it was a lovely flow. And again I cau- tion, this photograph was taken in the last week of June. I think the creek would be dry later in the summer. We stopped here and climbed around a little on the stream banks. The wildflowers were lovely, blooming amongst rocks and bould- ers that dot the creek bed. |
