Tillamook Rock Lighthouse

This photograph was taken from the beach at Tolovana State Park at Cannon Beach, Oregon's first resort town.

My parents spend a great deal of time on the northern
coast, and my dad of a time when the sea was so rough that waves, not just surf, completely covered the Tillamook Rock, the lighthouse - everything. What a sensation that would have been to have been working to keep the light lit with that happening at the same time. :-)
