Hiking without trails in southern Oregon.

We were hiking in the hills, not far from Retreat for Nature Lovers and came upon these ruins. They're not far from Ed Chiloquin's old camp. Ed Chiloquin, now deceased, was one of the Klamath Tribe who refused payment for his land when the tribal status from the Klamaths was removed mid-century in the 1900s. He was allowed to keep his land as long as he maintained traditional native dwellings, and met some other criteria of which I'm not aware. These ruins, with the stones arranged as they are, were found in the immediate locality of Ed Chiloquin's camp. They pre-date the dissolution, a genuine native artifact.
