The Rim Village at Crater Lake National Park is all that is open
to motorists during winter. Sometimes the road is closed. Check ODOT's Tripcheck
to make certain. Of course, one can cross country ski or snowshoe, but we didn't.

The Umpqua River Watershed:

The Umpqua Watershed includes the North Umpqua River, the Little River,
Row River and the South Umpqua River. However, I've included the South Umpqua in the
ordering with the Diverse Loop Tour due to geographic considerations.

A very easy hike, if you want to call it a hike, to Moon Falls on Layng Creek to a very beautiful waterfall.
